HOW TO CALCULATE STARTER STRIP PANELS FOR TRADITIONAL STYLE

Starter Strip Panels are used as the first course at the base of the wall in combination with the Flat Panels. Starter Strip Panels are also used as the first course above window and door openings.

  • FLAT PANEL

  • CORNER PANEL

  • STARTER STRIP PANEL

  • Step 1

Measure the total linear feet of the horizontal base of the wall to be covered in stone. Multiply this number by 12 to convert it to inches.

  • Step 2

Divide the total by 2, as a Starter Strip Panel is required for every other panel. This will give you the total length of Starter Strip Panels required.

  • Step 3

Divide the total length by 21.25 inches, as this is the length of a Starter Strip Panel. This will give you the total number of Starter Strip Panels required.

  • Step 4

Divide the total number of Starter Strip Panels required by 8, as there are 8 panels in a box. This will give you the total number of boxes required.

Total Length of Starter Strip Panels Required = (Total Length of Wall in Linear Feet ÷ 2) × 12 Inches

Quantity of Starter Strip Panels Required = Total Length of Starter Strip Panels Required ÷ 21.25 Inches

Total Quantity of Boxes Required = Quantity of Starter Strip Panels Required ÷ 8
